Naturally Rose Tinted
I am always looking for new ways to support my wellbeing but at one time I really struggled with holistic therapies, which are there to support the overall wellbeing of a person. I found meditation hard and really struggled with visualisation, I felt I was doing it wrong. I moved away from it for a long time, until someone taught me how to meditate with sound, which really worked wonders for me, it just clicked! Once I was comfortable with using sound to meditate, I found I naturally wanted to explore other types, including visual meditation which came with practice.
The opportunity came up for me to train to be a meditation teacher and I was drawn to it, it just felt right. Once I started my training, I found that I had an interest in other holistic therapies too, especially energy healing, chakras and crystals. I am always growing, learning and trying out new things, not only for myself and my own wellbeing but to help other people too.
Naturally Rose Tinted came about as I wanted to offer people natural ways of supporting their wellbeing and living a positive life. I want to be able to use my experiences to try and hopefully make holistic therapies simple, easy to understand and accessible for you, in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment. I aim to do everything naturally with optimism (rose tinted is being optimistic) and my middle name is Rose too!
I am a qualified Reiki Master, a trained Meditation Teacher by the Meditation Centre in Dent and I have a certificate in Aroma Blending.
Here are the current services I offer:
Meditation
‘Meditation is space and time just for me’
Emma, Naturally Rose Tinted.
Meditation is an ancient practice that has been around for thousands of years. There are lots of different definitions for meditation but two common ones are:
When the body and mind are still and the heart is open
The perception of true self.
It’s not about completely clearing your mind of all thoughts, as we all have thoughts that come and go. It is more about observing that we are having thoughts and letting them pass without judgement. Whenever our mind wanders, we aim to bring our awareness back to either our breath, mantra, object or whatever we might be using as our focal point in the meditation.
I believe that meditation is unique to each person. We all have different things that we like in daily life and meditation is no different. There are lots of types of meditation out there and what one person will like, another won’t, it’s about trying different ones and seeing what works best for you. I have a core technique that I mainly use in my daily practice but I like to mix it up by using other techniques, variety is the spice of life after all!
Meditation is not a, cure all, but it is known to have many physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits, these might include things such as lessening feelings of stress and anxiety, help us to process emotions and helping with sleep.
I am a trained meditation teacher by the Meditation Centre in Dent.

Reiki
For healing to occur there must be:
- A shift in consciousness
- An exchange of energy
Dr. Mikao Usui
Reiki is a healing technique that aims to help the flow of energy in the body. We might have energy blockages in our body that come about through physical illness or injury or emotional traumas. These blockages stop the energy flowing in our bodies and the aim of Reiki is to remove them. By enabling the energy to flow freely in our bodies it can bring many bring many benefits such as relaxation, reducing pain, improving sleep, reducing stress & anxiety and more.
Reiki was discovered and developed in 1922 by a Japanese Buddhist called Mikao Usui, although energy healing techniques have been around for thousands of years. There are a number of different types of Reiki out there but the four most common are Usui Reiki, Kuruna Reiki, Kundalini Reiki and Holy Fire Reiki. In my sessions I use Holy Fire Reiki.
Traditionally energy healing has been a hands-on technique where the healer would lay their hands on the client, however it can be done as distance healing. It doesn’t have to be just given on a one to one basis, it can also be given to groups.
I currently offer bookable reiki healing sessions, Holy Fire Reiki Experiences and Level I & Level II Holy Fire Reiki Training. If you would like more information or to book any Reiki sessions, Experiences or Training Courses then get in touch.
I am a trained Reiki Master.
Chakra Balancing
Chakra balancing is another form of energy healing. It focuses on channeling energy in to the chakras with the aim to remove any blockages and bring them back into alignment so that energy can flow freely in the body.
There are seven main chakras in the body. They are our energy centres that start at the top of our head and finish at the bottom of our spine. When they become blocked, over active or out of alignment they can have negative physical and psychological impacts on our health.
I do chakra balancing by using a chakra rebalance meditation. If you would like to book a session please get in touch.
